There are more Cantonese speakers in the Mainland than anywhere else -_-. Same goes for any other Chinese dialect. Well isn’t it obvious? Given the Mainland’s ENORMOUS population…
And yeah it’s true that most Hongkongers speak Cantonese, but there are exceptions, and I happen to be one of them: a Mandarin-speaking Hongkonger…

I live in Hong Kong. Many mainlanders speak Cantonese. There are many dialects among the people from different places in China. If you can hear what she is saying, you can tell that she speaks with a mainland accent.
Believe me, I live in HK and I hear a lot of them. The pronuciation is slightly off.
u mean she speaks mandarin? accually she speaks Cantonese (hong kong)
Actually she’s probably from the mainland. If you listen to her accent (in the sentences that you can actually hear properly) you’ll be able to discern her mainland accent.
